About This Blog

After getting married to my first schoolgirl crush in April 2010 in beautiful Cyprus, hubby and I returned home thinking how exciting it would be to do a stint abroad somewhere warm and sunny. As if by magic, hubby was approached just a few weeks later with a potential job opportunity in…Bermuda!

And so, in October we packed up our life, resigned from our jobs, said goodbye to loved ones (including Oxford Street)  and moved to this small island. My lovely hubby had bagged himself an exciting job in financial services; and I was spinning my unemployed status as an opportunity to do and learn new things! This blog was started with the aim that we would have a record of the adventures we have in this new country. Dog or Affair became the title, after I jokingly said that as an unemployed housewife with a husband working long hours, I would need something to keep me occupied. I’m still rooting for a Jack Russell rather than a Jack the Lad..!

Any explanation for blog title? Strange name but like it. Perhaps this is the first of your published works

Hi Resa, welcome to my blog! Dog or Affair was born out of a joke I made to Rich – I said I’d need something to keep me occupied as an unemployed housewife! I’d much prefer a dog though! 😉

      Hi Michael

Thanks for your comment. I am indeed – just too busy working and volunteering to think about the blog much these days! But I appreciate the reminder – I must get another post up soon!
